Dear Firearms Rights Supporter,

I would like to remind you that the ISRA is your organization and it is working harder than ever to protect your rights here in Illinois, both in the legislature and now in the courts. I am sure you know that last November Cook County passed a sweeping firearm ban, and the ISRA has filed a suit in the circuit court asking for an injunction to, first, prevent its enforcement and, second, to overturn it.

If you think these types of actions are important, I invite you to join us at the 103rd Annual Meeting and Banquet March 23rd and 24th, at the Holiday Inn Naper Select, located at Naperville Rd., just south of I-88.

At the “Meet & Greet” reception Friday evening, you will have an opportunity to meet YOUR Board of Directors and share with them your thoughts and ideas. Saturday, beginning at 8:00am, we will offer seminars and workshops which will explain why some things are done the way they are in Illinois. Culminating the day will be a dinner with guest speaker Bob Barr, an NRA Board member and former Congressman of Georgia.
