Cost: $40 - No FOID Card Required - No Experience Necessary
Class size limited to 24 participants. For ages 16 years and older. Guns and ammo are supplied.

In this class you will receive:
- Basic firearms safety instruction
- Basic marksmanship instruction
- Certificate of completion

  • Aug 29 - Annual Sighting-In Day - ISRA Range - Bonfield

Open to the public.
ISRA or Range membership is not required. Come out to the range and sight in your shotgun, rifle, pistol or muzzleloader.

Fee of $10 per firearm includes targets for rifles, handguns, muzzle loaders and slug guns. For shotgun, cost includes the use of patterning board and 25 clays.

Archery range available to site in your bow.

No steel shot is allowed on our patterning boards. Use trap loads instead. No ammunition sold on premises, bring your own ammo, at least 25 rounds for each firearm.

  • Aug 30 - ISRA Doughboy Match - ISRA Range - Bonfield

1. All Unclassified Shooters MUST attend Match and Range Safety Orientation.
2. Current CMP Competition Rules, Rule 9.3 Springfield Rifle Match.
3. Target pits will be used. Shooters will pull targets and perform scoring duties.
4. Rifles allowed: ?Any safe rifle? may fire this match, but rifles in competition for honor
of being named Match Winner must be ?As-Issued, Model 1903, Springfield Rifle?
(not Model 1903 A3), no National Match parts, no heavy barrels, no glass bedding,
triggers must lift 4? lbs.
5. No armor piercing, incendiary or tracer ammunition.
6. ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL WEAR EYE AND EAR PROTECTION!
7. Cash prizes awarded for Match Winner, High Junior & High Senior.

If you've never experienced shooting competition and you have a Glock pistol, this is a great way to get started.  The ISRA-GSSF Glock matches at the ISRA Range are well attended by novices, casual shooters, and seasoned competitors alike, you never know who will turn up!
